The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Hybrid (2025), was one of our favourite intermediate padel rackets of 2025, in fact I find myself still going back to play with the 04 Hybrid with regularity.
With this in mind, Bullpadel really had its work cut out to create something that improved on its predecessor.
After playing with this padel racket for the past three weeks (about 20-25 hours play time), I can confidently say that they have managed to capture the same features that made the Vertex 04 Hybrid so instantly impressive, whilst also managing to refine and add new dimensions to the 2026 model.
What type of player does the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 padel racket suit?
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 is perfect for players who have a versatile padel game, and refuse to specialise too heavily in either attack or defence.
It’s ideal for right-side players who need control and precision but still want enough punch to finish points, and for left-side players who value manoeuvrability over brute force.

What are the biggest strengths of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026?
Manoeuvrability and precision. The hybrid shape and lower balance point make this the most agile racket in the Vertex 05 family, letting you react instantly at the net and accelerate through defensive shots.
The Xtend Carbon 12K face of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 padel racket combined with the MultiEVA core delivers a firm, predictable response that rewards clean contact with exceptional ball placement.
How does the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 perform on vibora/bandejas?
Viboras are where the hybrid shape of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 padel racket really shines. The lower balance means you can generate serious head speed through overheads, letting you shape viboras with confidence and place bandejas precisely into the corners.
The rough Top Spin finish gives you the grip to add that extra bite when you want to keep the ball low after the net.

How does the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 perform on volleys?
Volleys feel crisp and controlled. The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 has a 12K carbon face that transmits a stunning feel and response, and the triangular Vertex Core in the bridge keeps the racket stable during reflex volleys and blocks.
How does the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 perform in transition (chiquita/lobs)?
Exceptionally well. This is the Hybrid’s natural habitat. The improved aerodynamics from the Air Power channel reduce drag by 23%, letting you whip through chiquitas with disguise and place lobs with pinpoint accuracy.
The MultiEVA core gives you a softer feel on touch shots without sacrificing the firmness needed for aggressive transitions.

How does the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 perform whilst defending?
Surprisingly forgiving for a racket in the Vertex family. The hybrid shape of the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 extends the sweet spot compared to the diamond models, and the Ease Vibe system cuts vibrations by up to 49% on off-centre hits.
You can defend from the glass with confidence, knowing that even when you’re stretched, the racket won’t punish you harshly.
Spin and comfort: the unsung advantages
The Top Spin rough finish is more pronounced on the 2026 models, giving you noticeable bite on sliced shots and overheads without feeling abrasive.
Combined with Hesacore grip and Vibradrive in the handle, this racket manages to deliver a firm, direct feel while keeping your arm fresh through long matches. It’s a balance that few power-oriented rackets achieve.
Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid price
At around £270, the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid sits firmly in the premium category.
