Black Crown Special Max scores 84/100 against 66/100 for the Black Crown Wolf. Its biggest edge is control (+16). On price, the Black Crown Wolf is currently €152 cheaper.
“The Special Max is Black Crown's quiet achiever: a Black EVA core and 18K carbon face, specs from the attacking aisle, tuned into a control frame. Control 86 puts lobs and blocks precisely where the point needs them, comfort 76 and tolerance 75 forgive both arms and errors, and the 18K face adds a crispness most control frames lack. Power 74 attacks selectively. Value 78 rounds out one of the better sub-flagship cards we have scored. For intermediates who win with patience but appreciate premium materials, the Special Max is a genuine find from the boutique shelf.”
“The Wolf is Black Crown's accessible all-round racket, pairing a straightforward EVA core with a carbon/fibreglass hybrid face at a genuinely low price point. It's built to be an easy, dependable entry into the Black Crown range.”
