Our verdict

The AT10 Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem is a raw, uncompromising power weapon built around Agustín Tapia's aggressive left-handed attacking style, delivering explosive smash pace and devastating drive depth that few rackets can match. The 12K carbon and aluminium layering creates a stiff, direct feel that transfers energy efficiently but punishes off-centre hits and accumulates arm fatigue over long sessions, making it strictly a tool for advanced to professional players with clean, consistent ball-striking. Attackers who dominate from the left side, love to finish points overhead, and have the technique to handle a 375g head-heavy diamond will find this one of the most lethal offensive rackets on the market in 2026.

We loved
  • Explosive power output from the 375g weight and head-heavy balance
  • Direct feedback and shot precision on clean strikes
  • Durable 12K aluminum construction built for competitive play
Worth knowing
  • Limited maneuverability compared to mid-weight rackets—demanding on arm fatigue
  • Requires excellent technique to maximize control; beginner-friendly this is not

The series story

NOX AT10 Genius

Agustín Tapia's signature line

The AT10 Genius is NOX's marquee series — the racket line built around Agustín Tapia, and the second-largest family in our database. Unlike most flagship lines, the AT10 splits by construction rather than by year: the 18K editions are the stiffer, more precise frames Tapia plays, the 12K editions trade a little punch for comfort and forgiveness, and the Attack editions push balance higher for out-and-out aggression. Recent generations added Alum construction across the range. Whatever the variant, the AT10's hallmark is the same: a teardrop that behaves like a control racket until you accelerate it.

Which one should you buy?

The AT10 Genius 18K Alum is the pick if you want what the series is famous for — it scores 93 with us, the joint-best racket in our database. Intermediate players should look at the 12K editions first: most of the feel, noticeably easier on the arm and the wallet. The Attack editions only make sense if you already live at the net.

  1. 2024

The Tapia-era line settles into its two-construction formula: 18K for precision and stiffness, 12K for comfort. Both score in the high 80s.

  2. 2025

Updated layups across 18K, 12K and Attack editions; the 18K (PRR 91) pulls ahead as the reference frame of the family.

  3. 2026

Alum construction arrives across the range. The 18K Alum (PRR 93) is the best-scoring NOX we have tested; Attack 18K Alum close behind at 92.
