Our verdict
The Starvie Exodus Gold 2025 is a forgiving, head-light round racket built to ease beginners into the game with a stable, confidence-inspiring feel and decent pop from its EVA core. At 385g with a low balance point, it swings quickly and absorbs vibration well, making it a comfortable choice for players still developing their technique and logging long sessions. However, at its price point it faces stiff competition from more refined entry-level options, and intermediate players will quickly outgrow its limited ceiling in both power and precision.

This delivers genuinely excellent power generation for the beginner segment, and the head-light balance provides superior maneuverability along with real arm comfort. The round shape offers forgiveness on off-centre hits. It's a stable, confidence-inspiring first racket. Control lags behind dedicated control-focused rackets, so technique matters significantly as you progress, and the EVA-foam core may show durability concerns with genuinely intensive play.
