Our verdict
The Niton Epic Energy is the entry-line version of Black Crown's Epic recipe: a Black EVA core under a 3K face producing the same power 83 as its Piton-badged siblings, with identical terms (control 70, comfort 66, tolerance 65). Weight documentation is incomplete. Value 76 matches the family standard. The honest position: Black Crown's Epic-generation frames are one racket in several outfits, and the Niton badge is usually the cheapest outfit. For improving attackers drawn to the boutique strike, find the lowest-priced Epic in stock, confirm the face spec in hand, and buy that one.
This is the entry-line version of Black Crown's Epic attacking formula, and it doesn't shortchange the power: the Black EVA core produces the same dense, honest strike as its pricier siblings, at genuinely entry-line pricing before any discounts even land. It's a fair way in. Comfort and tolerance both run firm, so this asks something of your arm, and weight isn't confirmed in our data: check the specimen. Sibling editions in the family are near-identical, so shop on price.
