Step back to the Vertex 03 (PRR 84) only at a steep discount; it is the most demanding generation in the line and the gap to the 04 is real and noticeable. If the mainline feels too stiff or too unforgiving on off-pace contact, look seriously at the Comfort or Hybrid editions: they carry the Vertex shape and most of its power, but they give back-court players a little more room when the vibora does not land quite on the sweetspot.
