Our verdict
The 2024 Coello Extreme Pro is the budget chapter of Arturo's story: foam core, carbon-fibreglass face, power 87, and value 82 now that two seasons of price cuts have done their work. It hits like its successor for meaningfully less money. The frame's terms have not softened with the price: control 69 wants your targets picked early, comfort 63 is hard on unconditioned arms, and tolerance 62 punishes drift. Maneuverability 66 asks for anticipation at the net. For improving attackers who want signature-line pace at mid-range money and accept the workout, this is the value pick of the Coello range.
Two seasons of price cuts have done their work: this hits like its successor for meaningfully less money, with the fibreglass content softening only the worst of the stiffness. The cheap way into this level of pace. The terms never softened with the price, no mercy on the arm or on mishits, an attack that needs organising, and stock and weight options are dwindling.
