Our verdict
The Kombat Krakatoa by Manu Martin is a mid-range diamond-shaped racket oriented toward aggressive players who want pace from the back court, but it lacks the refinement and consistency of better-established brands at a similar price point. The feel is somewhat stiff and feedback can be harsh on off-centre hits, making it unforgiving for intermediate players still developing their technique. Dedicated Kombat brand loyalists or players who prioritize raw power over finesse may find enough here, but most would be better served by competing options in this price bracket.
