PRR Analysis
Control rackets suit players who value placement over pace. The round head gives the widest sweet spot in padel, forgiving on off-centre contact and ideal for net-volley precision and third-ball construction. Look for a PRR Control sub-score above 80 and a low-to-medium balance point. Most top control frames weigh 360–375g and use a soft EVA core to dampen vibration. They work best for players with a reliable defensive game who want the freedom to dictate rallies with placement rather than pace. At the elite level, Fernando Belasteguín built an entire career on a round frame: proof that control is never a compromise.
