The Drive 3.4 is adidas's accessible take on the diamond shape - it wears the power-shape look but the EVA Soft Performance core and fibreglass face are tuned deliberately soft, trading the diamond's usual harshness for something a beginner can actually control. At 360-375g it has real presence in hand without being unwieldy, and the fibreglass face keeps the strike forgiving on off-centre contact. It won't hit like a true power diamond, but that's the point - this is meant to ease a newer player into the shape rather than punish them for it.
