Our verdict
The 2025 Air Veron is Babolat's featherweight with intent: 355 g of Black EVA density that keeps power at a genuine 79 while maneuverability 75 and comfort 72 make every exchange feel unhurried. Control 73 and tolerance 72 are dependable. This is the rare light frame that does not feel like a compromise: drives carry, volleys arrive early, and long sessions end without complaint. Value 77 is honest. For advanced players who prioritise hand speed, intermediates stepping up without wanting mass, or anyone managing a shoulder, the Air Veron remains one of the smartest light builds in the market.

Babolat's Black EVA core does real work here: this is genuinely light, yet it doesn't feel thin in hand; power stays credible, maneuverability is excellent, and comfort holds up well across a full session. It takes a session or two to trust the lighter feel if you're coming from a heavier frame. Against strong incoming pace from bigger hitters, the light build does yield a little, and the finishing ceiling sits below the full-weight Verons in the range.
