Our verdict
The Piton Epic Energy is Black Crown's mid-tier attacker: a Black EVA core under a 3K face, even-balanced, producing power 83 with the boutique brand's pleasantly dense strike. Control 70 keeps the demands genuine, comfort 66 and tolerance 65 are firm-but-standard for the class, and maneuverability 68 wants some anticipation. Weight documentation is incomplete, so check in hand. Value 76 is honest money. Positioned below the full Piton Attack, it offers most of that frame's intent with slightly gentler terms and invoice. For improving attackers drawn to the boutique path, a sound middle step.
Real, boutique-dense power here at fair money: the Black EVA core delivers the pleasing strike Black Crown is known for, in a mid-tier package that costs less than the full Piton line. It's a legitimate way to sample the family's character before committing further. Comfort and tolerance both run firm-but-standard for the class, so your arm does some of the work, and weight isn't confirmed in our data: check the specimen. Availability varies by region since it's a boutique brand.
