Juan Tello's Tour Final Vertex is the interesting one in the 05 family: the same head-heavy diamond attack (power 93) in a lighter 360 g build, so the trademark Vertex remate arrives with noticeably less shoulder tax. Multilayer EVA keeps the strike dense and predictable. The scoring is classic Vertex otherwise: control 78 is decent under pace, but tolerance 65 and comfort 66 mean the frame gives little away on mishits and long sessions. The lighter weight helps hand speed without fixing the maneuverability trade-off entirely (70). For attackers who found the standard 05 heavy, this is the version to try.
The interesting Vertex: the lighter build makes the diamond attack noticeably easier to live with, and the smash barely loses anything to its heavier sibling. The strike stays dense and predictable at full swing. Contact that drifts off-centre is still punished, the stiffness is reduced rather than removed, and the Tour Final badge costs extra — you're paying for the signature details.
