Our verdict

The RP Efe Extreme 2023 is the vintage of Royal Padel's mislabelled entry: a 375 g diamond whose EVA core is tuned so control 74 leads power 66, the inverse of what the silhouette and the Extreme badge promise. Comfort 70 and tolerance 71 carry the house cushion. Maneuverability 68 is deliberate as ever. Value 74 is decent by brand standards. Read as what it is, a budget control frame with mass behind it, the card is coherent and the audience is the brand's usual: patient, strong-armed, cushion-loving. Read as anything else, it disappoints on schedule.

We loved
  • The house cushion at entry money
  • Control 74 with planted authority
  • Value 74: decent brand arithmetic
  • Coherent once correctly read
Worth knowing
  • The name and shape mislead completely
  • Power 66: nothing extreme anywhere
  • Strength required at 375 g deliberate

Read correctly, a coherent control frame

Despite the name and diamond shape promising violence, this is genuinely a control-first frame once you read the numbers correctly: control leads with planted authority, and the house cushion carries through comfort and tolerance. It's decent brand arithmetic at entry money once you understand what you're buying. Power offers nothing extreme at all — the name and shape mislead completely — and the substantial weight demands real strength for what is otherwise a deliberate, control-focused racket.
