Our verdict
The RP Whip Poly is Royal Padel at its most traditional: a substantial 385 g frame, tuned head-light so the mass works for you rather than against you. The strike is deep and cushioned, comfort 72 despite the heft, and power 82 comes from that mass moving through the ball rather than from stiffness. Control 73 and tolerance 70 are fair. The costs: maneuverability 66 means fast exchanges need anticipation, core documentation is incomplete, and value 66 carries the boutique premium. For strong players who like a heavy, planted, old-school feel, nothing mainstream replicates this; lighter-armed players should demo with honesty.
Royal Padel at its most traditional: a genuinely substantial frame tuned head-light so the mass works for you, producing a deep, cushioned strike where pace comes from weight moving through the ball rather than stiffness. Heavy but kind, with handmade character. Fast hands need not apply, the handling is deliberate, it demands real arm strength, and the core spec is incomplete, so demo first.
