Our verdict
The Wilson Defy Pro V1 SE 2 is a round-to-teardrop hybrid that attempts to balance offensive punch with playability, but its identity feels somewhat undefined compared to more specialized competitors in its class. The feel is moderately stiff with a firm response on contact, making it best suited for intermediate players transitioning toward aggressive play who want some power without fully sacrificing control. Wilson's padel line still lags behind Tier 1 Spanish brands in materials refinement and court reputation, and at its price point there are sharper options available.
