Our verdict
The Elite Light W from 2023 remains a lovely piece of judgement: a 360 g even-balanced hybrid where control 82, comfort 76 and tolerance 76 make a card without a single unkind number, and maneuverability 76 keeps everything punctual. The EVA core absorbs pace so defence feels calm. Power 72 finishes selectively, through placement. Two seasons of pricing drift bring value to 78. For advanced players who want light, precise and forgiving in one frame, and are happy to shop last season for it, the Elite Light W has aged into one of the better quiet deals in the women's performance market.
Gemma Triay's do-everything racket, now in its second generation
The Bullpadel Elite is Gemma Triay's line, and it has run under two different names across its history -- worth knowing so the family tree makes sense. It started as the Elite Light W (2023, 81 on our score), a women's-specific hybrid. The Elite W generation followed with the 2025 edition (87 on our score) and 2026 edition (88 on our score, the series' best score to date), plus a limited Rome Edition (83 on our score) along the way. For 2027, Bullpadel dropped the 'W' from the name and relaunched the line as the Elite 02 (85 on our score) -- Triay's racket, same core versatile-hybrid identity, new generation number.
Every generation shares the same brief: a hybrid shape and even balance built for a genuinely versatile, all-styles game rather than a specialist power or control tool -- the racket for a player who needs to do everything well rather than one thing brilliantly.
Which one should you buy?
Be straightforward with yourself on this one: the 2026 Elite W (88 on our score) is the highest-scoring racket this line has ever produced, and if you can still find it, it beats the new 2027 Elite 02 (85 on our score) on our numbers. The 2027 Elite 02 is the current generation and gets Bullpadel's latest Total Channel aerodynamics, but it does not yet beat its predecessor in our testing -- buy it for the new-generation construction and updated fit, not because it scores higher. The 2025 Elite W (87 on our score) is excellent value once discounted. The original Elite Light W (81 on our score) and the limited Rome Edition (83 on our score) are now dated relative to the rest of the family.
This is a genuinely composed hybrid: control leads the card, comfort and tolerance both back it up generously, and the EVA core absorbs pace well enough that defensive rallies feel calm rather than reactive. The punctual build gets you there in time, every time. Power is a placement job rather than a weapon: don't expect finishing pace to arrive for free. Being older stock, check condition and available options before buying; the newer Elite W generations refine the same recipe further.
