Our verdict
The Dunlop Inferno Elite Lt G1 HL is a teardrop power racket built around an EVA foam core that delivers a firm, punchy response with decent pace on smashes and drives from mid-court positions. The even balance keeps it more accessible than a true head-heavy power frame, but off-centre strikes feel noticeably harsh and the sweet spot demands respectable technique, making it best suited for advanced players who hit cleanly and want aggression without going full diamond. At its price point it competes adequately in the Dunlop lineup but doesn't stand out against rival brands offering better forgiveness and feel for similar money.
This delivers genuinely exceptional power generation from the EVA-foam core, and the lightweight construction enhances swing speed and maneuverability noticeably. Comfort holds up solidly for extended play sessions. Control is slightly compromised by the power-focused, lighter design, and the shape demands real technical proficiency: off-centre hits aren't forgiven the way a rounder, heavier frame would manage.
