A good beginner racket is not a cheap version of a good racket: it is specifically designed to maximise sweet spot size and reduce vibration. Round shape, soft EVA core, even balance, sub-360g. These specs let you focus on footwork, timing, and swing mechanics without fighting the frame. Avoid anything labelled "advanced" or with a diamond head: they punish off-centre contact and build bad habits.
