PRR Analysis
Diamond-head rackets are the choice of net-dominant attacking players. The geometry places the sweet spot in the upper third of the frame — perfectly positioned for overhead smashes and fast attacking volleys, but demanding when it comes to groundstrokes and wide balls. Most top tour players attacking from the right side use a diamond or near-diamond shape. The technique requirement is real: miss the sweet spot on a diamond frame and the ball goes nowhere. This is not a category for developing players. Target a PRR Power sub-score above 82. The best diamond frames still score above 75 on control — extreme power-only profiles sacrifice too much in modern padel.
