PRR Analysis
Intermediate rackets are the most versatile category in padel. A good intermediate frame grows with you — enough control to build rallies, enough power to attack when the ball sits up. Teardrop shapes dominate because they balance sweet spot size with a slightly elevated hitting zone. Target a PRR score above 76 and check that neither the Power nor Control sub-score is below 70 — extreme profiles will hold back your development. The sweet spot should be mid-frame. Most players stay in the intermediate category for two or three seasons before moving to control or power. Brands like Head, Adidas, and Bullpadel offer the strongest intermediate lines.
