Our verdict
The Astra Hybrid 2022 is the veteran pressing of Siux's budget all-rounder: an even-balanced EVA foam teardrop scoring a 68/64 split with fair terms (comfort 68, tolerance 67) and honest handling (69). Face and weight documentation is incomplete on survivors. Value 74 reflects four seasons of drift. The current Astra Hybrid Air delivers the same card with a documented mixed face for similar money, which is the whole review: the 2022 needs genuine clearance pricing to argue past its own successor. Standard veteran rules: inspect, discount, or walk on.
A proven, durable Siux all-rounder that does the basics without complaint — at true clearance pricing it's a fair first racket. Two cautions: remaining stock is old, so inspect the actual frame thoroughly before buying, and Siux's own Astra Hybrid Air has since replaced it with better-documented spec for similar money. Only buy this one at a proper discount.
