The verdict
The Arrow Hit Carbon Ctrl is the control half of adidas's value line, and it may be the better half: the EVA Performance core and 3K face are tuned so control 86 leads with comfort 75 and tolerance 76 in close support, a genuinely kind combination. Blocks die short, lobs land deep, and the frame times easily in fast exchanges (maneuverability 75). Power 72 sets the boundary: finishing is a placement exercise. Weight documentation is incomplete, so verify in hand. At value 78, intermediates who build points patiently get premium behaviour at mid-market money. Quietly one of the best budget control buys around.

The control half of adidas's value line, and it may be the better half: placement leads with kindness in close support, blocks die short, lobs land deep, the timing comes easily in fast exchanges, at a price that embarrasses more expensive control frames. Bring a finishing plan because the power won't supply one, the soft character will bore attackers, and the weight spec needs an in-hand check.
