Our verdict
The 2025 Genius Attack 12K is the value-conscious route to Tapia's most aggressive character: Black EVA density, a 12K carbon face, and power 90 that finishes points without apology. It hits marginally softer than the 18K Attack but keeps the same demands: control 72 wants pre-planned aggression, comfort 64 works the arm, and tolerance 63 gives mishits nothing back. Maneuverability 67 means net speed is earned, not given. At value 76 with last-season pricing, it is a legitimate bargain for the committed attacker; for anyone still developing the technique, it is a frame to demo first.
The value-conscious way into the Attack character: most of the top-spec version's pace for less money, the same dense, authentic feel, and short lobs converted into finished points. It's attack-only equipment — no all-court compromise — the head asks for muscle in quick exchanges, and the strike is firm and unforgiving. Run-out pricing makes the maths tempting if the style fits.
