Our verdict
The Defy Pro carries the full 370g weight and head-heavy balance that make Wilson's Defy line a genuine power option - about as much attacking output as the range offers, at the cost of maneuverability and forgiveness. This is a frame for an advanced player who already generates real pace and wants a racket that adds to it rather than one that helps compensate.
This is the Defy line at its most committed - full weight, head-heavy balance, and about as much attacking output as Wilson's range offers. It asks for real technique in return, since off-centre contact isn't forgiven the way a lighter frame would forgive it. We'd only point an advanced player who already hits with pace toward this one; anyone still developing should look at the lighter Defy LS instead.
